link love words

Friday Links: 11.14.2014

friday links - www.iamafoodblog.com

It’s been cold and sunny all week and I’m loving it! Frozen cheeks, puffs of breath in the air, and cozy meals in are what I’ve been all about. I’ve also been getting crazy organized with packing and reorganizing everything in sight. There’s something about the sun that brings out a crazy productive side of me. It’s funny because I should be out enjoying the sun, but instead sometimes, I’ll just let the sun stream in, open up all the windows and make giant piles that I mean to sort, but never really end up doing, especially once the sun sets.

Packing and cleaning aside, this is what I’ve been check out around the web!

Webstuff:

1. Have you guys heard about Alex from Target? I laughed so much reading this.
2. There’s a new Taylor Swift video out and I died watching it. (Thanks Sara for the heads up!)
3. I’m pretty obsessed with bread. I agree with this entire list.
4. Snack Time! You all are cute-cumbers.
5. If I lived in NYC I’d definitely pay a visit to this dumpling house.
6. I’ve got a little post up on Conde Nast Traveler about Vancouver fashion brands.
7. I’m a huge fan of Spotify, but I know it’s a touchy subject with musicians.

Link Love:

1. I could absolutely make a meal of this stuffing, no other dishes needed.
2. I’m always amazed by the illustrations on Cake Over Steak. These pancakes are gorgeous!
3. Miso deviled eggs sound right up my alley!
4. A mini Thanksgiving!
5. This kabocha sage pappardelle! I die.
6. I really, really like stuffing, especially made with pretzel bread.

Have an awesome weekend friends!
xoxo Steph

  1. I swear I dreamed last night of Taylor Swift AND Cynthia’s pappardelle. And notice how I’m not at all complaining? I’m just an eesny bit obsessed with both. Happiest of Fridays, Steph! And thanks (again!) for the link love. <3 <3

  2. Thanks for the love, Steph!!! You’re the best. And when do I get to see YOUR illustrations?! eh??! :-* :-* :-*

  3. Thanks for the mention Steph! And yeah, I’m equally obsessed with bread (especially #16). I usually serve 2 different stuffing options at my Thanksgiving dinner. This year, I’m seriously considering making one of them with pretzel bread ;) Happy Friday!!!

  4. I was drooling over the pappardelle yesterday!

  6. Jamie says:

Oh man, thank you for the Alex from Target link! I am not a teenfangirl (sadly?) and thus did not hear about this story till now. So hilarious and slightly unnerving how powerful crazy hormonal teens can be, amiright?

  7. Slick says:

I always look forward to your Friday links, and they never disappoint. Any chance you could tell us what the delicious looking things are in the header pic?? I was hoping for a link to those. ;0)

  8. Alana says:

Thanks for the heads up on Tay Tay’s video. DIED. I always look forward to your links because they’re all pretty much gems!

  9. Kristin says:

The Alex from Target article is hilarious! I teach middle school, so of course I knew all about this. It has lead to spin-offs including DaQuan from Staples. And one of my students made his own– Omar from AVID Class. Teenagers are funny.

  10. I love your Friday Links so much, I had to go back to the ones I’ve missed…
Dumpling Galaxy is definitely on my to-do list, I might go next week :)
