Banana Bark

The frozen treat you never knew you needed

Ingredients

  • 2 small bananas sliced
  • 1/4 cup nut butter of choice
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate of choice
  • 1 tsp coconut oil optional

Instructions

  • Place a sheet of parchment paper on a rimmed baking sheet. Arrange the banana slices in a rectangle.

  • Spread the nut butter evenly over the banana slices, then place in the freezer while you melt the chocolate.

  • Place the chocolate (and coconut oil, if using) in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Remove and stir. Heat again for 30 seconds, remove and stir. Repeat until the chocolate is smooth and melty. Take the pan from the freezer and pour the melted chocolate on top of the bananas and nut butter.

  • Spread to the edges then sprinkle toppings, if desired.

  • Freeze the banana bark for 1 hour, or until completely frozen and solid.

  • Remove from the freezer and break or cut into pieces and enjoy!
    Store any remaining pieces of banana bark in an airtight freezer container. The banana bark will keep for up to 1 month.
