Happy Friday! How is it the third week of September already?! Is it me, or does time pass by more quickly the older you get? Mike and I talk about this all the time: when you’re a kid the summer seems endless. Now, it passes by in the blink of an eye. But, I’m excited anyway because it’s almost officially fall! Time for ALL the cozy things. Especially cozying up and drinking pumpkin spice lattes and spending the afternoon reading mildly interesting things on the internet.

Webstuff:

  1. VSCO girls. They’re a thing.
  2. Mike and I have tried the croissants at Path in Tokyo. I was a fan, Mike wasn’t. But apparently the way they’re made is legendary and the popular LA cafe Konbi has one of their croissant machines.
  3. Ooh, if we were in Japan right now, I’d break my keto diet for one of these sweet potato frappuccinos!!
  4. Woah, this story of two girls and their instagram account is super intense.
  5. Hmm…Pizza Hut stuffed Cheez-Its…would you eat them?
  6. Growing up in America these days seems tough.
  7. Close Friends” on the Internet.
  8. Cheese.Conveyor.Belt.Restaurant!

Link Love:

  1. I’m totally down to try this Instant Pot Pumpkin Cheesecake…only I don’t have the small Instant Pot. Should I get one?!
  2. Mac and cheese will never go out of style.
  3. These apple whoopies pies look amazing!

I’ve got my eyes on you:

  1. Just started Frankly in Love and I’m loving it so far. It’s written in a style that’s like the youths talk though, so if you’re not into that style, I’d avoid it. But the story’s super cute and I love a good YA romance.
  2. Um, Mike bought me the BEST BLANKET EVER and I am so in love with it because it’s a TORTILLA BLANKET and I can now be a burrito and my life is complete. You need a burrito blanket, you really do.
  3. I am so obsessed with these crispy seaweed chips. I can’t stop won’t stop eating them.

Lately on I am a Food Blog:

  1. Hatch chile season is almost over, but if you have a bunch or if you want to use other roasted green chile, you can make green chile fried rice or maybe even green chile wontons!
  2. I’m still doing keto (crazy, I know, I’m a little impressed with myself) and I did a little round up of my favorite snacks and some fun low-carb tailgating ideas.

Hope you guys have a cozy weekend!
Pumpkin spice lattes and warm apple cider donuts,
xoxo steph
PS – Mike and I are in Montreal and would love your recommendations!

    Hi Stephanie,

You should try to go to Joe Beef, Au Pied de cochon, Schwartz (Smoked meat). Fresh bagels also @ St-Viateur Bagel.

You also need to try Poutine at one point during your stay.
    Enjoy!

LOVE Montreal. Have the best time!
My friend and I had a lovely time at this spa that’s on a barge and overlooks Habitat 67: https://botabota.ca/

Ahah, you came to my city and my neck of the woods. Boulangerie Guillaume! Did you happen to go to Boulangerie Automne as well? My brother is one of the head bakers there :)
