Friday Finds: 3.27.2015

Whomp! It’s Friday, again. This week I’ve been thinking a lot about chips. Are you guys chip fans? My absolute favorite are kettle cooked chips; I’ll take kettle cooked chips over regular any day. In a pinch I’ll do Pringles, but they’re not my fave. Sometimes I think I should start my own artisanal chip company just so I could eat freshly fried chips all the time. I’m obsessed with wish chips (chips that are folded over themselves that offer maximum crunch) so I’d make sure that every chip was a wish chip. It’d be a blast coming up with all the flavours. If you guys could own a factory, what would it be?!

And…on to what I’ve been checking out on the internet, aside from indulgent googling.

Webstuff:
1. This is hilariously strange and fun.
2. Are you a fan of Mast Bros Chocolate?
3. I can’t exactly relate, but I chuckled a lot at this essay on apartment hunting in Brooklyn.
4. Katie Holmes going all Mission Impossible style to shop at Whole Foods.

Link Love:
1. Woah, carrot cake horchata!
2. Carrots belong in cake, especially carrot graham cake.
3. These tacos!!
4. Loved this podcast with Laura of The First Mess.
5. These matcha macaron ice cream sandies!
6. I love, love, love Hawaiian rolls.

I’ve got my eyes on you:
1. I really like this iPhone case.
2. This t-shirt looks so, so soft.
3. Mike and I have so many mismatched glasses, I think it’s finally time for us to grow up, standardize, and just get a bunch of these. They don’t look super fancy, but we’re going to pretend we’re a hipster coffee shop; they always serve coffee in Picardie glasses.

Have an awesome weekend friends!
love & potatoes,
xoxo Steph

PS – My friend Dan of Will it Waffle is hosting a waffle maker giveaway on his blog! Head on over and enter…I did because, um, I have a waffle maker obsession, remember?!

PPS – Thanks for all the dry shampoo suggestions! I feel like I want to buy them all but then I’d end up with a drawer of dry shampoo…

PPPS – Okay, last post-script! Mike and I decided on the black chandelier. Can’t wait to show you when we install it!

Okay, let’s talk about chips for a minute.
I’m not a big fan of salty foods, chips usually included, but kettle cooked chips are an exception for me. THEY ARE SO GOOD.
I actually really like plantain and pineapple chips, too. (But those are sweet, soooo…)
