Time is flying! I don’t know if it’s because we’re in the middle of moving or just because we’re back in North America, but it seems like the days are just blowing by! Please stop time! I need more hours in the day…I’ve been a little stressed out over here and have been eating entirely too much of a frozen Deep and Delicious McCains chocolate cake that I stress bought the other day. Frozen cake is sooooooooo good. Also, I did a Trader Joe’s run and now my freezer is filled up with chicken potsickers which makes me so, so happy. You guys don’t judge my frozen dumpling addiction, do you?! Frozen dumplings are the bomb!

The jimmy fallon skits made me giggle so hard, and I NEED those cheeseburgers in my life. Awesome list!

  2. Julie says:

Cooking advice #22 “You cannot toss a salad or mix cookies or make meatballs in a tiny cereal bowl. All you can do is make a bigger mess.” Is there a camera in my kitchen? Has someone been watching over my shoulder?? Thanks for the links and good luck making time slow down!

  3. I am also in love with UO kitchen equipment! it has to be one of my absolute faves place to shop because of the shipping. Also drooled all over Mandy’s eggs post, they are simply too good to be true!

  4. Cook’s Illustrated recommends the 6 1/2 quart KitchenAid. Before they recommended the 6 1/2 quart Crockpot Touchpad, which I have and like. They say that the Crockpot runs a little hot so they got better results on the KitchenAid.

  5. Heidi says:

I love my slow cooker with removable cast iron insert – it’s a Crock Pot brand one.

  6. Abby says:

Ahhh I love these links, Stephanie! And omg, that chocolate cake sounds soo good <3

  7. Craig says:

I had a slow cooker until very recently, i gave it to my mum, but i absolutely loved mine. Pop it on before work and be met on return with that great smell of cooking and the only prep left is to get a plate and cutlery. My only advice is get the size you need. It’s very tempting to get a big one just because, but it needs somewhere to live when you’re not using it. Think about when you’re planning to use it regularly and how many people it will normally be feeding. Hope it helps. Be well

  8. That list of best cooking advice is great. I think that we know we should be doing many of those things, yet somehow we don’t. It’s good to be reminded.

  9. Mary Beth says:

I try and keep my cooking gadgets to a minimum, because it saves storage space in my kitchen. I thought about buying a slow cooker, but I work from home, so I just make the same recipes in my oven, with it set to a low temp.
