Woot woot, another Friday! This week has been a mix, weather wise, which means we’ve alternated between being cooped up at home getting a lot of work done and spending ALL our time outside in the sun. We also finished the 1000 piece puzzle that we’ve been working on forever. Usually we do a certain type of puzzle that goes pretty quickly but we thought we would branch out and try something new. This one ended up being a lot trickier because of the colors used. Do you guys puzzle? I find it so relaxing. And frustrating. At least it teaches me patience LOL. Anyway, here’s what I’ve been peeping at on the internet!
Webstuff:
- I’ve seen this cookbook everywhere but haven’t really flipped through it. Seems like there are a lot of strong opinions on it though.
- When you grind up nuts and squeeze them, is it really milk?
- Um, if anyone is going to Japan or if you live in Japan, can you get this for me please?!?!? I will die from happiness. I’m obsessed. I look at random people’s hashtags who have one and then I get sad. Maybe I can find one on the black market?!
- When you break up but your ex knows the password to your Spotify and Netflix.
- Fireball grapes!
- Big pharma and Instagram influencers.
- Cute new Pixar short.
Link Love:
- These bananas foster hand pies have me heart eyed.
- Look at the cuteness of these kimchi piggy dumplings!
- I love chicken samosas. Maybe it’s time to try making my own?
I’ve Got My Eyes on You:
- My hair gets so tangly, especially in winter with all the scarves I wear to keep warm. I’m looking at this detangling brush but have no idea if it works or not, but my hair is driving me crazy…
- I swore I would never want one of these, but I’m kinda thinking it might be good for those times when I want just the tiniest bit of whipping cream? Or do they only work on milk?
- On the second book in the Chronicle of the Dark Star series – it’s a kids book – space-y and futuristic and a fun, fast series so far. But am I the only one who loves the first book, kinda likes second books and thinks that the third book is always bad?
Lately on I am a Food Blog:
- GIANT FLUFFY JAPANESE PANCAKES!!! YAAAAAAASSSSSS!!!!!
- I’ve been on a roll friends because this basque burnt cheesecake is just dreamy.
- Hello smoky chicken with noodle friends :)
- All the Vietnamese curry please and thanks!
- Noodles forever, especially when they’re this easy to make.
Happy weekend friends! Hope it’s relaxing and full of some cozy times :)
xoxo steph
You’re not alone! I love a good puzzle every now and again ;)
I don’t know about whether or not it would whip cream, but I know that you can buy a great milk frother (to test?) from Cost Plus World Market for like $2. Hope that helps! Oh, and I also really love doing puzzles!
oooooooh $2?!? i’m in LOL
